particular location or site. Through personal
observation and experience, one can obtain
information for a field report.

(a) Look over the requirements of your field report.

(b) State the paper with general information about the visit.

(c) Define the purpose of the site.


(d) Explain what happened during the visit in chronological order.

(e) Summarize the operations at the site.


2. Reflecting on your visit

(a) Describe what you learned at the site if you’re a student.

(b) Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the site.

(c) Provide recommendations for improvement if required.


3. Formatting your report.

(a) Add a title page to the beginning of your report.

(b) Write in clear and objective language.

(c) Include any relevant pictures if desired.

(d) Proofread your report.
