My Field

Experience and
What I learned

Jessica Andrews
What I learned about becoming a
teacher
– I learned about classroom management and how to control a loud classroom
– I learned how to effectively manage time and how to prepare a lesson for the
whole class time.
– I also learned that being a teacher can be rewarding and a job that you have to
enjoy and want to help kids learn.
– I learned how to help students learn by engaging them in the lesson asking
them questions and making them give answers or having the students work in
groups.
Diversity of Students

– Being a teacher means that you will encounter many different cultures and
backgrounds.
– Learning to embrace all the different cultures and backgrounds will help me to
become a better teacher.
– Effective teaching is learning how to teach and make all students feel that they
are smart and can accomplish anything that they set their minds to.
My Goal As a Future Teacher

– My Goal as a future teacher is to help students to succeed and reach their full
potential.
– Teachers have a very important role in kids lives and that is to help them learn
and to give them the confidence to become all they can be.
– As a future teacher my goal is to inspire students to love to learn and to have
fun learning about history and hopefully enjoy learning as much as I do.
