a rubber band and chopsticks
What did you do in this activity?
I set out all the ingredients for the bubbles out on the ground. I let my
boys pour the water, soap, corn syrup inbo the dishes.

I asked my youngest to stir and modeled how to blow through the slots
in the spoon to create a bubbles.

The boys dipped the different tools into the bubbles.

The boys spent the time dipping the tools into the bubbles, making
different bubbles of varying sizes.

I loved having activity?
boys pour the materials themselves, experimenting
at amounts of the ingredients used to create the bubble mixture.

Watching them experiment with the different types of tools used to


create differing types of bubbles.

Listening to the conversations they had about the bubbles,


commenting, “the bubbles are so soft.” and look at how big this is!”
