MOTIVATION BEHIND THE PROJECT
• Give a short background of the project.
• Describe the reason(s), why did you feel the need to work on the chosen
project.
• Try supporting your statements with references.
OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE OF STUDY
Objectives:
• State the deliverables of your projects using bullets.
• Mention realistic deliverable and they should not be more than 3 in number.

Scope of Study:
State the boundaries in which you will be working during this project. For
example state the variable and constant parameters, experimental or numerical
work etc.
LITERATURE REVIEW
• Memon et al. [1] found out that two-phase slug flow does not distributes
equally in a vertical pipe T-junction.
• It was also found that slug flow damage pipes due to its fluctuation
nature [2].

* State your literature review in the style mentioned above. State the
complete title of the reference paper/thesis/patent in the last slide. Make
sure your literature review is comprehensive.
Project Timeline (Gantt Chart)
Prepare a Gantt chart in excel (bring the MS excel sheet as well) showing your
project activities such as literature review, designing, prototype development,
testing, analysis etc.). Your chat should be detailed show months as well as
weeks of the month. Us the chat below as a reference.
Design Parameters

• You should mention the design parameter here as well as the initial
design of your project. If you are fabricating something, it is
important that you mention it here and elaborate it.
Expected Results
• Discuss the results that you expect after the completion of your project. Make
sure your results are realistic and detailed. Statements such as “This project
will enhance the efficiency of XYZ” should not be used. These statements are
very vague and being an engineering students you are expected to show figure,
numbers and/or graphs etc.
Conclusions
• State the conclusions of this project, which includes the critical summary of
the literature review, objectives and results.
