Pasacao Campus Library is heading
towards a new level of information

Like most academic libraries, CBSUA Pasacao Campus
experienced challenges in adapting the new world especially in
digital era. The university and campus administration, university
librarian together with the new campus librarian Rita D. Alarcon,
MLIS collaborate and support each other to come up with
resilient programs that could empower the library of Pasacao
campus by gradually advancing its physical facility, technology,
online services, outreach programs and collections to provide its
stakeholders excellent services in research and educational
needs.
 During the meeting on October 11, 2019, the University
President Dr. Naperi said that “Library serves as the heart and
soul of an Institution” these words signified that the president
is open to all changes and development; it might also means
approval of request and proposal for Pasaco campus library.
 Seeing an opportunity, Pasacao librarian outlaid her concerns,
plans and requests to improve its library services. Fortunately,
The President commits to support her request and instructed
Dr. Oloteo, the University librarian to make a checklist of
priorities that will serve as guide in prioritizing requests to meet
the maximum library standard not only to University library but
to all its campuses.
