communication refers to communication between
different cultures and social groups of people.

religious, social, mentality, ethnic, and
educational backgrounds equal terms and
respecting their identities

countries and cultures act, communicate and 
perceive the world around them
 Purpose Of Intercultural Communication:

 The Purpose Of Intercultural Communication is to increase understanding


of culturally mediated communication phenomena. The “Culture Specific”
on identifying the Communication behaviors of a various different
cultures.

 To encourage people to understand each others point of views and


develop a society in which we respect each other and work together for
the development of whole society.

Importance of intercultural
communication:

Language difference makes international business
companies difficult to adjust to local environment and
culture. For instance, Coca-Cola Company once tried
to find a phonetic equivalent of their brand to be
used in China and thought of using KeKou-KeLa.
But the meaning of the terms made them change
their decision as the direct translation of those words

Intercultural Communication can be the cause of conflicts and disorder.
There are three main issues which can cause issues for intercultural
communication.
 Language as a barrier.
