    sq mi), land area 42,388 km2 (16,366 sq mi).language of the
    country, Estonian, is the second-most-spoken Finnic language.

    Estonia declared independence. The Provisional Government of
    Estonia adopted a resolution on 21 November 1918, proclaiming
    the blue-black-white flag the state flag. The flag was created by
