Surah al-Baqara:30
ٰۗ
• (Remember) when your Lord
said to the angels, :I am going
‍َ ُّ‫• َواِذ‍ قَا َ‍ل َرب‬
‍‫ك ِ‍لل َمل ِٕى َ‍ك ِ‍ة ا ِِنى‬
to create a deputy on the earth! ‍‫ض َخ ِليفَة‬ ‍ ِ ‫َجا ِعل‍ فِى اْلَر‬
• They said, :Will You create there
one who will spread disorder on
‍ۭ
the earth and cause bloodshed,
ِ ‫• قَالُ ْٓوا اَتَجعَ ُ‍ل ِفي َها َمن‍ ‍يُّف‬
‫س ُ‍د‬
• while we proclaim Your purity,
‍ۭ ‫الد َم ٰۗا َ‍ء‬ ِ ‍ُ‫فِي َها َويَس ِفك‬
along with your praise, and
sanctify Your name? ‍َ ‫ح ِب َحم ِد‬
‫ك‬ َ ُ‫ن ن‬
‍ُ ‫س ِب‬ ‍ُ ‫• َونَح‬
• He said, :Certainly, I know what ‍ۭ ‫ك‬ ‍َ َ‫س ل‬
‍ُ ‫َونُقَ ِد‬
you know not.
 We learn from the verse
