 What types of ecosystems
Aquatic: The biotope is covered with water.
This can be salt water or fresh water. An
example is a coral reef.
Land: The biotope is not covered with water. An
example is a field.
Mixed: The biotope is where land and water
meet. An example is a delta*.
 Producers
Producers are autotrophic organisms. Most
produce their nutrients through photosyntesis.
Their surroundings provide the water, minerals,
carbon dioxide and oxygen necessary for this
process.
