Monopolowa was produced by J.A.


Baczewski until World War II. After
the war, Gessler, an Austrian
company, bought the licence and thr
rights to production. In 1990, the
Starogard Gdanski based branch of
Polmos, a privatized offshoot of the
former state-owned monopoly,
started to produce several of J.A.
Baczewski’s products under license
from Altvater Gessler – J.A.
Baczewski International (USA) Inc.
However, in the late 1990s. the
license was terminated and
production in Poland was halted.
Belaya Rus (Belarusian: “ White
Russian”, “white Rus”) is a brand of
vodka, launched in the US in 2012
by Gvardia LLC and distilled in
Belarus from a blend of premium
hard winter wheat (25%) and rye
(75%) using pure artesian water
drawn from wells 1000 ft. (290
meters) deep. It is distilled six times
and filtered with patented method
using black flint or “Cremia”, a
mineral found only in Belarus. The
alcohol content of this spirit is 40%,
(eighty proof), priced similarly to
Smirnoff and Svedka.
Crystal Head Vodka is a
brand of vodka
manufactured by
Globefill Inc. in
Newfoundland and
Labrador, Canada. It
was conceived of and
founded by actor Dan
Aykroyd and artist John
Alexander in 2007.
Polar Ice is a Canadian
vodka produced by Corby
Distilleries Ltd. Produced
from Canadian corn, it is
quadruple distilled, which
its vendors claim rids the
vodka of microscopic
impurities. The vodka is an
eighty proof spirit. It is
available unflavoured (40%
and 45% alc./vol.), and in
berry and maple flavours.
Viru Valge is a vodka
produced in Estonia by
Liviko. It is produced in
different flavors ranging
from lemon to
blackcurrant. Viru Valge
comes in three degrees of
alcohol content: 38%,
40% and 80%. The
flavored ones come in
38%.
Danzka is a Danish
brand of Vodka. It is
made from Danish
whear, produced and
bottled in Denmark, and
exported World-wide.
Danzka was produced
for the first time in 1989,
and although the brand
is owned by Belvédère
Scandinavia A/S.
Finlandia is a vodka produced in
Finland from Finnish – grown six-row
barley and glacial spring water. The
barley is distilled into a neutral spirit
using a continuous multi-pressure
distillation system at a distillery in the
village of Koskenkorve operated by
Finland’s Altia Corporation. The
distilled alcohol is then transported to
a production facility in the village of
Rajamäki, about 45 kilometers (28
miles) north of Helsinki. In Rajamäki,
the spirit is blended with glacial water,
flavored (except for the classic non-
flavored edition, 101 and platinum),
and bottled.
Koskenkorva Viina
(also known simply as
Koskenkorva, or Kossu)
is the most common
clear spirit drink (38%)
in Finland, produced
byAltia in the
Koskenkorva distillery
in llmajoki and bottled
in Rajamäki.
Kors Vodka is a vodka brand
founded by Mitch Krzisnik. Kors
Vodka is produced using water
from the Italian Alps and grains
from 12 European countries, and
is distilled using gold and
diamond distillation techniques.
The recipe for this vodka comes
from a batch of Vodka found in
Finland, which was believed to be
lost for over a century. This batch
was a shipment sent from the last
Tzar of Russia Nikolai II to
George V of England.
Grey Goose is a brand of
vodka produced in France.
It was created in the 1990s
by Sidney Frank, who sold
it in 2004 to Bacardi. The

Goose is François
Thibault, who developed
the original recipe for the
vodka in Cognac, France.
VKA is a premium brand vodka
produced in Italy from organic
wheat and spelt and Tuscan
Apennines water. It was founded
in 2013 by a group of
enterpreneurs in Mugello,
gathered around the name of
Futa Pass. The Maître de Chai for
VKA is Luca Pecorini a
renowned restaurant owner, who
developed the original recipe for
the vodka in Barberino di
Mugello. It is distributed in Asia,
Czech Republic and Italy.
Kissui is a vodka
from Japan. It is
the only Japanese
Vodka available in
the US as of2007.
It’s distilled and
bottled by Takara
Shuzo in Kyoto,
Japan.
Pyatizvyozdnaya
(“with Five Stars) is a
Russian vodka
produced by the Saint
Petersburg based
distillery LIVIZ. It
has as an extra
ingredients honey and
is 40% volume.
Smirnoff is a brand of
vodka owned and
produced by the
British company
Diageo. The smirnoff
brand began with a
vodka distellary.
Absolut vodka is a
brand of vodka,
produced near Ahus,
in southern Sweden.
Absolut is owned by
French group Pernoid
Ricard.
Svedka is a Swedish
brand of vodka,
manufactured in
Lidkoping, Sweden
and owned by New
York-based
Constellation Brands.
SKYY Vodka is
produced by the
Campari America
division of Campari
Group of Milan, Italy,
formerly SKYY
Spirits LLC.
Zubrowka also known
in English as Bison
Grass Vodka, is a dry,
herb-flavored vodka
that is distilled from
rye and bottled at
40% alcohol by
volume.
Krupnik is a
traditional sweet

similar to a liquer,
based on grain spirit

Poland, Belarus and
