What is assistive technology?

Products, equipment, and systems that enhance


learning, working, and daily living for persons with
disabilities.
Smart home technology

 The smart home enables various devices around the


home, such as thermostats, lighting and door locks,
to be connected to the internet and controlled via
smartphone

 Like most technology before it, the vision of the


future has been expensive and often complicated,
putting it beyond the reach of many, however that’s
starting to change.
