actual men-women proportion in society.

• Media reinforce beliefs regarding, what is normal ?

• Shortage of women controlling media .

• Men-Dominant , aggressive , active .

• Women-Busy with home and family .

• Skinny and fair .

• Good women are housewife and dependent on men.

• Bad women are independent .

• Dependent and independent .

• Authority.

• Role and Status .

• Victims .
Conclusion:-

• Media does not under represent women .

• Whatever representation is there is discrimatory by nature

.

• It is also a basis for further subjugation of women in

society.
Solution:-
• Women need to work on themselves to lower down the bar of
discrimination .

• Spreading awareness by education .

• Clear policy on discrimination .

• Provide training on unconscious bias .

• Be transparent .
