SUPERPOSITION PRINCIPLE
o Superposition principle is being defined as “ the
total pressure drop at any point in the reservoir
is the sum of the pressure drops at that point
caused by flow in each of the wells in the
reservoir”.
o This principle can be illustrated for case of more
than one wellS in the reservoir.
APPLICATIONS
o There are two main applications of superposition
principle:-
1) Super position of multiple well

2) Bounded reservoir
