Advantages and Disadvantages

 Advantages
• Adequate and Well Equipped laboratories
• All the Laboratories are provided with LAN facility where students as well
as faculties can utilize it and get access to any journal and transaction paper
and other technical articles.
• Department library has many useful books (reference and texts) and
research papers and thesis published by Students and facultymembers.
• Maintenance of the instruments are carried out on a monthly basis and also
when necessary.
• Technical Staffs for every lab.
• Conditions of chairs/benches are in good condition
• All the labs are fully air-conditioned.
• Window curtains are provided for good visibility.
• Whiteboards and magnetic duster in all laboratories.
 Disadvantages
• Lighting in the laboratories is not enough, no power backup.
• No separate LED Projectors for Laboratories.
• Training for technical supporting staff is required.
• No provision of Periodical servicing of the lab equipments.
• No Library management softwares
• Not proper arrangements of the books.
• No 24/7 Electricity Supply.
• No 24/7 access to the department.
• No proper internet services.
• No separate project lab has been provided for the students to carry out their
mini and major project work.
• No Start up cell committee or lab in the department to encourage the students.
• No high end configuration machines to carry out research work.
