Step Towards Acquiring the Company

• TNEC is 100% owned by TNB
• TNB is a public listed company with Khazanah
as the Government proxy.
• TNB core business is tariff, with 48Billion
annual revenue.
• Non core business contribute less than 2B
annually.
• TNEC Sdn Bhd , contribute less than 100 M
annually
• Core business is in District Cooling under BOT,
ROM or EPCC concept.
• Current Asset [contracts with clients under
BOT/ROM] approximately 250 Million, 20 Yrs
BOT/ROM.
• Biggest asset is Bangsar DCS and KLIA2 DCS.
• TNEC’s MD report to TNEC BOD, which were
representative from TNB.
• TNEC KPI is to generate business from DCS at
revenue of 500 Million annually. Current
business development is not TNEC side.
• TNEC business competitor is from private sector
which have flexibility in manuevering to get the
busienss.
• ICSB staff is X TNEC. These are the people who
are in DCS business since 1997.
• ICSB staff involves in all TNEC’s DCS project
success. [ BES, MBSA, Nuclear Malaysia, IJN,
One Borneo, Al Rief, UKM, and latest KLIA2]
• ICSB carries details of the business development
network, Engineering and Sub Contractor
support.
• ICSB will arrange a meeting with TNB CEO to
get blessing to take over TNEC on the ground
that TNEC is not capable to move on due to
stringent TNB’s policy.
• ICSB will help TNB to manage TNEC staff and
ease off TNB HR’s issues.
• ICSB will get support from Khazanah to aquire
the company.
• Once TNEC change of management took
place, KLIA2 will comes under new Co.
• ICSB will re structure MAHB tariff and offer un
deniable offer to MAHB packed into KLIA 1
and KLIA to network.
• Total capacity of the DCS will shoot to 50,000
RT with annual revenue of 120 M.
• MAHB is not an issue, as the utility is not their
core business. The lower tariff and reliable
supplier is their main objective.
• ICSB have complete design and knowledge of
current DCS and Power supply network within
KLIA city.
• Conversion of KLIA 1 Co-gen is the best option
and clean business.
