Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar

Early career

Tendulkar was born at Nirmal Nursing Home in Dadar, Bombay on


24 April 1973

 On 14 November 1987, Tendulkar was selected to


represent Bombay in the Ranji Trophy,
Tendulkar finished the Ranji Trophy season as Bombay's highest
run-scorer
Tendulkar made his Test debut against Pakistan in Karachi in
November 1989 aged 16 years and 205 days.

 Ramakant Achrekar. Ramakant Vitthal Achrekar (1932 – 2 January 2019)


was an Indian cricket coach from Mumbai. He was most famous for coaching
young cricketers at Shivaji Park in Dadar, Mumbai, most notably Sachin Tendulkar.

The Indian batsman brought up ODI cricket's first double-hundred, in
a match against South Africa in Gwalior. Sachin scored 200 not-out
from just 147 deliveries, and his innings included 25 fours and three
sixes. This was then the highest individual ODI score ever.

He is the only player to have scored one hundred international


centuries, the first batsman to score a double century in an ODI,

The holder of the record for the most runs in both Test and ODI

The only player to complete more than 30,000 runs in international


cricket.

In 2001, Sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman to complete 10,000


ODI runs in his 259 innings
