INTRODUCTION

 Family is the most basic unit of society. It is crucial in the learning of a child
may it be inside their home or outside. Whatever situation it is taking place
in the house, it affects how the students perform inside the classroom.

 When a family maintains a good and peaceful environment at home,

most of the time, the students spends most of his/her time stressing about
school works rather than worrying about family problems. But when the
situation at home feels chaotic, the student will start worrying and thinking
about it than spend his/her time being productive at school works.
 Family norms and beliefs also affects how well a student performs at school. Family being
the ones the student stays with; he/she constantly adapts what he/she sees in their house.
It is important that they remember that even if a man learned what he knows most from
school, character and values should be improved and molded in their own house. strong
family educational cultures provide children with intellectual, social and emotional
capacities which greatly improve their chances of mastering the school curriculum.
Family cultures are only the first part of the explanation for differences in student success.
Primary mechanisms joining particular types of family educational cultures with student
success are the capacities children acquire by virtue of experiences with, and
relationships among, immediate and extended family members.

 The researchers think that this issue is timely because sometimes when a student is absent,
they will say that there was an emergency in the family or some inevitable situation
occurred in the house (family problem). By conducting this study, we aim to help parents
to realize that controlling the situation in the family is critical in the academic learning of
their children.
