 Introduction
 Nepal Imports. Nepal mainly imports oil, gold, iron and steel, clothes, pharmaceutical products, cement,

electronic appliances, food and vehicles.

 Nepal's main imports partner is India (accounting for 58 percent of all imports). Others include China,

Indonesia, Argentina, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan and Germany.

 Imports shall be allowed on the basis of a Certificate of Origin to be issued by the agency designated by the

Government of Nepal in the format prescribed.

 Stakeholders(East Coast Railway, CONCOR ,Customs, VCTPL and Shipping companies.

 Starting of ECTS(Electronic Cargo tracking system)

 Distance from Visakhapatnam terminal to ICD Birgunj is 1476.5 km
