Definisi
• It is defined as bleeding from or into the genital tract after the 28th
week of pregnancy but before the birth of the baby
Plasenta Previa
• When the placenta is implanted partially or completely over the
lower uterine segment (over and adjacent to the internal os) it is
called placenta previa.
• About one-third cases of antepartum hemorrhage belong to placenta
previa.
• In 80% cases, it is found in multiparous women. The incidence is
increased beyond the age of 35 years, with high birth order
pregnancies and in multiple pregnancy
