INTRODUCTION / ABSTRACT
• The Campus Culinaries enables the end users to register online, read and select the food from e-menu card
and order food online by just selecting the food that the user want to have using android application.
• The system is the combination of Android. By using this application the work of the waiter is reduced and
we can also say that the work is nullified.
• The benefit of this is that if there is rush in the Canteen then there will be chances that the waiters will be
unavailable and the users can directly order the food to the chef online by using this application.
• Manual system involves paper work in the form of maintaining various files and manuals. Maintaining
critical information in the files and manuals is full of risk and a tedious process.
• Including a framework showing how to apply Internet technology progressively as skills and confidence
grow, the project demonstrates the route from adapting materials to developing an online environment.
• So this software helps them to save time and order food whenever they want without calling the waiter
again and again.
OBJECTIVE
• The main objective to make this application project is to reduce the time consumed or wasted
by the students and the canteen outlet owners for taking , receiving and delivering the orders
in the rush hours.
• Manual system involves paper work in the form of maintaining various files and manuals.
Maintaining critical information in the files and manuals is full of risk and a tedious process.
• The benefit of this is that if there is rush in the Canteen then there will be chances that the
waiters will be unavailable and the users can directly order the food to the chef online by
using this application.
MOTIVATION
• Our campus is spread over multiple acres and such a wide campus needs various food
joints, obviously! While visiting these food joints in-campus as well as nearby, we noticed
people standing in queues to get their order whilst having just 1 hour as their recess!
• Our team noticed this and this was a motivation that we wanted to work upon. This app
will enable students and faculties to order food while sitting in their classes, labs or
faculty rooms and not waste time standing in queues. They could rather complete their
pending work until their food arrives!
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• The online food ordering system sets up a food menu online and customers can easily place
the order as per they like.
• The management maintains customer’s database, and improve food delivery service.
• The payment can be made in cash or pay-on-delivery system. For more secured ordering
separate accounts are maintained for each user by providing them an ID and a password.

Detailed summary of orders placed with option to search orders, update order status, print orders, etc.
