Introduction
• Online Restaurant Management System is a process of ordering food from a restaurant
or food co-operative through a web page.
• Much like ordering consumer goods online, many of these allow customers to keep
accounts with them in order to make frequent ordering convenient.
• A customer will search for a favorite restaurant, usually filtered via type of cuisine and
choose from available items, and choose delivery or pick-up.
• Another important reason for developing this project is toprepare order summary
reports quickly and in correct format at any point oftime when required.

• A computer based management system is designed to handle all the primary
information required to calculate monthly statement.
• This project intends to introduce more user friendliness in the various activities such as
record updating, maintenance and searching.

• Learn to develop real-time webpage.
• This is achieved through an easy to use graphical interface menu options.
• The users can add any number of items to the cart from any of the available food
categories by simply clicking the Add to Cart button for each item.
• Once item is added to the cart, user is presented with detailed order to review or
continue shopping.
