WHAT IS FSI
 FSI is a Functional System Infrastructure.
 The Sub-systems are SIO, SDU, SMU and SRU.
TOOLS
 Using Vector tools for analysis the
behaviour of sensor according to the
situation.
 Tools using for analysis are:
1.Manual Test
 Vector CANalyser
 Vector Dia-Tester
 Vector Canape
2.Automation Test
 Sparc Tool

 Clear DTCs and ITCs
TESTING FOR ANALYSIS
 To analysis of sensor behaviour, following testing
types are used:

 SDU(System Diagnostic Unit)

 SMU(System Management Unit)
 SIO(System Input Output)
SDU TESTING
a) Aging Counter
b) Enable Condition
c) ECU Defect Handling
d) DTC Information
