Major Problems
• What is the best solution for planning the proposal considering the satisfaction of
tourists?
• A. Tourism plays a vital role in the economy. The development of coastal tourism
complex plays an important role in generating tourism demand. Coastal
development for tourism is one of the main motivators for tourism trips to many
destinations and core elements of the tourism product. Development of coast for
tourism purposes help to promote the nature, culture and tradition, and the natural
environment of a certain locality that increase the economic growth of the country
specially the vicinity.
Major Problems
• What innovations will be applied in the project that will make it more attractive to
users?
• B. Based from the data gathered and the feasibility study of the proposed project
entitled, “ESCAPES – A Proposed Coastal Tourism Complex,” the proponent is given
a chance to examine thoroughly the relevance of the project and proved that there
is a need for this kind of proposal. The proponent incorporates innovative
technologies in creating a calamity and weather-responsive building. This building
technology includes Unconventional Structure Systems, Space Frame System, Wind
Resistance & Seismic Isolation Engineering, Wooden Diagrid System and Long Span
Beam System.
Major Problems
• What is the best and suitable design for the proposed tourism complex that will
make it a sustainable development?
• C. A thorough study and analysis shall be observed when planning a sustainable
Hotel with Wellness Resort and Shopping Center or any other development alike.
The architectural approaches should be treated with high regards, because this is
one of the important fundamentals for the design phase. A good approach always
takes in consideration the relationship between the structure and its environment.
Blending these aspects will form a structure that is adoptive and appropriate.
Minor Problems
• What will be the effect of the proposal to the community?

D. Tourism holds the promise of increased employment and income opportunities. It’s
economic impact not only having direct impact on the tourist spots but has an even
greater impact on the establishments frequented to purchase products or avail
services from.
Minor Problems
• What are the elements needed to be considered in constructing the
proposed project?

E. After thorough study and careful analysis of the project, concerns and
considerations in planning a Coastal Tourism Complex have been determined. The
proponent had come up from this result that in the development, there are a lot
of things to be considered. In designing a Tourism Complex, it is very important to
consider not only the aspect of development of the structures and the building
aesthetics, but also the aspects on how to utilize the existing materials in the
vicinity and on how to adapt the environment to the development.
Minor Problems
• What will be the best approach to incorporate sustainable concept and
design structure to the building?

F. The proponent learned that through careful analysis, he will able to optimize
the opportunities and strengths of the site to create green, sustainable and
regenerative design. The proponent takes several considerations on what type of
materials will be needed and what construction system will be used for the project
as he incorporates innovative technologies in creating a calamity and weather-
responsive building. The use of new building technology is one factor that the
researcher considered.
