What is Agriculture?
Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops
and raising livestock (Ben G. Barejo, 2014). It includes the preparation of
plant and animal products for people to use and their distribution to market.

Agriculture is one of the world’s largest food commodities which is not
only focusing on food production but, it also provides products like cotton,
wool, and leather that are used in our daily life. These products and the
agricultural methods are also used in different parts of the world especially in
countries rich in agricultural lands.

Architectural Topic
The word “Agri-tourism” is a combination of both “agriculture” and
“tourism”.
In terms of tourisms, structural, functional and aesthetic aspects of
architecture, particularly represent unique features that attract tourists.

In terms of Agriculture, the word farm building is a type of any of the


structures used in farming operations, which may include buildings to house
families and workers, as well as livestock, machinery, and crops which is the
concept of the proposed project.

 This law will strengthen and support the proposed project this will ensure the health protection of every
people, to improve proper use of sanitation facilities and good hygiene practices.

PHILIPPINES”
 This Act will strengthen and support the proposed project, this will ensure the health protection of every

Findings and Conclusion

Summary
The Philippines is known to be an Agricultural country. Despite of this, Philippines is facing a problem
in terms of agriculture, the continuous decreasing of agricultural land can be attributed to the conversion of
land from agricultural to other uses, this could lead to a huge impact to Filipino’s. Because agriculture is
one of the largest sources of food in the country.
According to the Department of Agriculture (DA) agriculture is life, without agriculture we
are nothing and without farmers we are nothing. Also, it has a huge impact on the
environment, especially in the ecosystem. Agriculture preserves the ecosystem, it helps to
maintain healthy growth of unique vegetation and provides habitat to animals.
Through the approved law of Agri-tourism/farm tourism, this aims to give an employment generation
for farmers and to local community, higher income, preservation of the environment, provides education
related to agriculture, promotion of Agri products, it benefits to the community and lastly, the Agri-tourism
aims to maintain the agricultural land and also to prevent from land conversion.

Findings and Conclusion

Conclusion on findings
The overall generalization of the project, the proponent has analyzed the project thoroughly and is
achievable, precise to the needs of the municipality of Alfonso. The proponent has been established
that the proposed project could become a product of an adaptive architecture for the development of
Alfonso, in which the proposed project is “Agritecture” a proposed Agri-tourism Paradise, this will
give a new attraction to the municipality. It aims to give knowledge about the importance of
agriculture, helps the farmers and the community and to prevent from land conversion to be able to
preserve the environment.
