ECONOMY
 The region is blessed with
fertile soil and good climate
conducive to the cultivation
of agricultural crops.
The devastation brought by Typhoon Pablo
in December 2012 had a tremendous effect
on the region’s crop production, particularly
in the provinces of Davao Oriental,
Compostela Valley and Davao del Norte.
