Teachers

• Saint Louis University Laboratory Senior High


School supports EE teachers by providing and
engaging them in in- service/ mid- service trainings,
and seminars in line with continuing professional
development.

• The school mandates ALL teachers to attend


appropriately funded trainings and seminars.

• Aside from this, the school ties up with other schools outside
the locality for the teachers to benchmark the school’s best
practices in line with entrepreneurship. This paves the way
for new ideas, knowledge and learning in entrepreneurship
education that can be possible for adoption.

• The school incorporates Entrepreneurship Day as part of the


school activity. This aims to develop entrepreneurial
mindsets and skills to young people through hands-on, real-
life experiences.
• The school viewed Entrepreneurship Day as important to
empowering the students, enhancing their creativity, and as
a stimulus to innovation which will encourage the EE
students to engage in various types of livelihood at a young
age.

• Entrepreneurship is promoted beyond educational


institutions to businesses and the wider community through
the combination of entrepreneurship and immersion subject
of different strands.

• In addition, way of teaching varies from one strand to


another so that students will appreciate entrepreneurship in
line with their area of specialization.
Encouraging Local business and Parental
Involvement

• Saint Louis University Laboratory Senior High School ties


up with the parents of the students through the Parents
Advisory Council (PAC). The Parent Advisory Council
engages parents as partners/leaders to help mold an
effective, responsive, and responsible team with the goal of
enhancing the educational quality of all EE students.

Involvement

• The school also encourages the students to be adept to the


trends and behavior of the business world, thereby allowing
them to join seminars and trainings conducted by local
businesses.
• Through this, the students could also acquire sufficient
knowledge on how businesses operate and could also be given
the opportunity to interact with local entrepreneurs.

• BEEHIVE Project (Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystems to
Enhance Higher Education Value-Added for Better Graduate
Employability).
• 11 partner institutions located in five European Countries as
well as Indonesia and Philippines.
• Holistic approach of entrepreneurial ecosystem that sees
entrepreneurship not merely as an individual effort but as a
process of networking and creating synergy between different
stakeholders.

• Own business incubation so that sharing of ideas,


knowledge, experiences, and best practices would be easier.
• Having a business incubator provides a venue for students to
go beyond merely formulating a business plan.
• A business incubator enunciates the application of what was
learned within the four walls of the classroom.

• Saint Louis University Senior High School is serious in its

Excellence. Through its long-term plan, we can have an
