DECLARATIVE SENTENCE
A declarative sentence is simply statement that relay information.
They are the most common type of sentence in the English language.
A declarative sentences states the facts or an opinion. It always ends
with a period.
Examples:
• The weather is warm and sunny.
• Most kids in this generation prefer using
gadgets instead of playing outside.
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE
Examples:
• Is everything alright Anna?
• Are you mad at me?
• How did you manage to get there
on time?
IMPERATIVE SENTENCE
An imperative sentence is a type of sentence that gives
instruction, command, an order, a direction or a request.
Depending on its delivery, an imperative may end in
exclamation mark or a period.
Examples:
• Get out, now!
• Please don't open the box.
