Objective of this lesson:

Upon completion of this lesson you will be able to:

Transfer / From within/Internal Posting

Scenario:

Due to an increased workload in the Financial Reporting organizational unit, your


client George Clooney has asked you to hire a Senior Finance Technician
(Technician Sr, Finance) in his organizational unit.

Currently he does not have any Finance Technicians reporting to him. However
he would like to hire an additional person in his organizational unit as a
(Technician Sr, Finance). He has indicated that the position should be the same
as the one that exists under Patrick Ryan’s organizational unit (Budget) given that
the tasks to be performed are the same. The effective date for the new position is
July 6th, 2013.

You must complete a Requisition Form

First Section: Create or Replace a position

 The Requisition number will be generated by Taleo once it is entered in the system.

 Use the drop-down menu to select the Aircraft Program field.

Part 1: Create or Replace Position

 Fill out the Position Title for posting in Taleo


 Indicate if the Position is Budgeted or Non-Budgeted
 Indicate # of Positions to create

Part 2: Enterprise Structure

 Complete all the fields, using the dropdown menus

Part 3: Organisational Management

 Complete all the fields:


 Using the drop-down menus if applicable
 Using the Job Classification table from Compensation for:
 Position Title
 Job Number and Title
 Pay Level
 Using SAP HR PPOSE for:
 Org. Unit ID
 BFU and Sub-BFU
 Cost-center and Department
Note: (Job Code not applicable for Mexico and USA)

 Use Additional Information to add more details for the recruitment and ESC Teams
 Acquire the Signatures from the Business and HR
 Submitted the Requisition Form for entry into Taleo

How to Complete a Form – Change Request Form (CRF)

Scenario continued:

The vacant position is posted (Requisition # MONO3526) interviewing several candidates,


you have chosen an internal candidate Amy Jones. She is currently working in the Payroll
department as a Senior Finance Technician.

After consulting the employee’s file and the HRBP responsible for Human Resources, you
have determined that it will be a lateral move and the HRBP has informed you that the
Payroll department will be replacing her. Therefore, she will not be moving with her position.
Her start date in the new position will be July 6, 2013.

You must complete a Change Request Form (CRF)

Summary:

When transferring an employee to a new position the HRBP must:


 Complete a Requisition (Req.) Form and submit for entry into the Taleo System.
 Using SAP HR the HRBP enters the following SAP information:
 Organizational Management information (PPOSE)
 All fields must be completed before entry can be completed in Taleo
 Req. # is generated by the system and then entered on the Req. Form

Upon selection of the internal Candidate the HRBP must:


 Complete a Change Request Form (CRF)
 Using SAP HR the HRBP enters the following SAP Information:
 Position number, Position Title, SAP ID of the employee and badge #
 Organizational Management information if different than the Requisition
 Action Reason
 Reason for Change
 Approval Signatures
 Both the requisition and CRF forms need to be submitted to your Employee Service Center
