RATIONALE
•Republic Act No. 11223, otherwise known as the UNIVERSAL
HEALTH CARE ACT, mandates to cover ALL Filipinos and
ensure their access to essential, preventive, promotive, and
curative services.

•Pursuant to Health Care (UHC) Act’s provisions of increased

benefits and targeted milestones of the Act, PhilHealth is
mandated to establish an efficient updated membership
database for health availment.
 OBJECTIVES
