Act to provide for the promotion of planned
development and regulation of growth of
urban and rural areas in the state with the
focus on scientific spatial planning and to
ensure to their present and future inhabitants
sanitary condition , amenity and convenience
and for other matter connected with or
incidental thereto.

Advise the government on policy formulation for
spatial planning
Guide and advise the DPC and MPC
Co ordinate monitor and evaluate the spaital
planning
Prepare or get prepared the perspective planning
• Prepare or get prepared plan for any area
within the state falling more than one district
• Evaluate and review the operations made by
various local self government

Preparation of perspective plan
Board will get the plan prepared from local self
government
• Phasing of implementation of perspective plan
in period of 5 years
• Draft for state published on web site and
notice of publication
• Sanctioning within 60 days and notification in
atleast 1 newspaper

PROCEDURE FOR PREPARATION , PUBLICATION
AND SANCTIONING OF PERSPECTIVE PLANNING
DPC will get prepared the plan within 2 years
from the date of deosion

clearence of slum areas in certain union teritoris
and for the protection of tenants in such areas

every land less person in a slum area entitled

space limitted to govt. or the slum collectives.
o To provide compensation for acqusition land
,where ever necessary in the form of
concessional buildings
