Authorization Person = A person authorized by the Garuda Indonesia Airworthiness
Management, to carry out specific certain work and required to
certify such work within certain terms of the approval by the isue of a
maintenance authorization.

Certifying Staff = A person authorized by the Garuda Indonesia Airworthiness
Management, to carry out specific certain work and required to
certify such work within certain terms of the approval by the isue of a
maintenance authorization.
3.1 Privileges
• AMEL Holder (CASR 65.47)
(1) perform or supervise the maintenance of an aircraft or component, and
(2) release an aircraft or component to service after maintenance has been
performed.
(3) approved for return to service if he is employed and authorised by such an
organization.

• Authorization Holder (CMM VII.2)


The privileges of the Type Rating authorization holder are:
1) To certify an aircraft as airworthy or serviceable.
2) To certify an aircraft as airworthy following accordance to independent
check.
3) To certify after maintenance process/ test on aircraft & engine
(maintenance release).
4) To certify all of the maintenance work performed as in their authorization
scope.
