ABSTRACT

 The aim of this project is to support online stores So that people who are busy in
their life can use these kind of application to buy various products.

 The proposed application is intended for the web users which is developed using
core framework of PHP and MYSQL.

 The application is going to be used on different platforms i.e., mobiles, tablets etc.

 The main role in this application is consist of User, Administrator & Vendor.

 Commerce is an interchange of goods or commodities, especially on a large scale
between different countries or between different parts of the same country trade.
 E-Commerce refers to a wide range of online business activities. It also pertains to
“any form of business transaction in which the parties interact electronically rather
than by physically”.
 The main difference b/w Traditional commerce and E-commerce is heavy
dependency, record maintenance, communication & platforms.

“Quick Shop” is an online shopping utility for the customers who are too busy in their
life and they have no time to go to the market and buy products. There are following
roles available on the QuickShop.

 Two types of users, one who can only visit the site called visitors and the other who
want to buy products called registered users.

 There is one main Administrator. The administrator can manage categories.ie add
view and delete. Administrator will update the website and also update vendor.

 The vendor can manage products for his shop. “Quick Shop” is a shop by
department where each department is manages by each vendor.

It is concluded that the proposed Online Shopping Application is designed for web
based users and also reduces the problems that take place inside manual
systems. The application take care all the requirements of a shopping store and is
capable to provide easy access and effective storage of information related to the
customer arise to the vendor and administrator.

It successfully register the vendor and customers, billing information of all the
customers and send notification regarding ordered products to the valid users. It
helps to manage activities of a shopping website on daily basis.

Moreover, its graphical user interface make it possible for the users to work
through the application in more user friendly manner.
FUTURE WORK

In the future I will improve my QuickShop website by adding coupons so customer


have something for free. I will fix bugs if they are found. More features will be
added into this application.

 Different Payment methods will be available.


 More secure encryption to provide more secure transaction.
 SMS and MMS Feature.
 Customer should be given more rewards for frequent purchase.
 Live support should be enabled.

The future works also enables users to customize features.
