What is pixel dimension?

Answer:
The number of pixels along the
width and height of an image.
What is resolution?

Answer:
Refers to the number of small squares,
known as pixels, that describe an image and
establish its detail.
•Image Resolution – refers to the number of
pixels per unit of length in an image usually
measured in pixels per inch (ppi).
•Monitor Resolution – refers to the number
of pixels per unit of length on a monitor
usually measured in pixels per inch (ppi).
COLOR REPLACEMENT TOOL (B)
• Replaces color you paint on with foreground color
without painting over image detail.
• Left bracket key ( [ ) – to make cursor or brush smaller.
• right bracket key ( ] ) - to make cursor or brush larger.
Sampling modes:
Continuous- replaces all the colors with the foreground color.
Once - only allows to replace color, that you first click on; for example, if
you start a stroke on a red area the tool replaces only red pixels.
Background Swatch- only replaces pixels containing the current
background color.
Clone Stamp Tool (S)

•Allows you to copy one area of an image


onto another area of an image. It's
extremely easy to use and one of the
program's tools that you will turn to quite
often.
