Tasks Undertaken
Child Development Khazana RRTC

 Taught children about healthy and safe lifestyle and imparted
life skills necessary to lead a happy and safe life, we
conducted workshops.

menstruation and sanitary napkin disposal and cleanliness: ‘a
collective responsibility, manners and etiquette'
 Importance of cleanliness was conveyed by showing videos.
Harmful effects of unclean areas and how prone they’re to
diseases was shown through skits and videos.
 CSSC is a recognized Regional Resource and Training Centre
for old age. It conducts workshops and training sessions for
Police on Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior
Citizens Act, 2007.
 We learnt various cases under this act were solved through
counselling more than legal action it was due to lack of
communication between parties
 We were successful in securing a collaboration of our NGO
with SiB Old Age Home to conduct an awareness workshop

Redesigning the CSSC Website GuideStar Transparency Certificate

 To enable NGO gather more reach and awareness by being
on the digital platform in a full-fledged way
 The new Website has a lot more features like Chat box, Live
updates, Email Capturing Form and a brand-new refreshing
design.
 The cost of maintaining this website for the first year is only
INR 360/- which is 1/4th the cost of previous website
 A GuideStar Transparency Certificate is a government
certified accreditation that is given to certain NGO’s
 This certificate increases the awareness about the workshop
and makes the NGO listed on the GuideStar’s website and
others can see and donate the NGO
 We registered our NGO on Guidestar and obtained a
transparency certificate necessary to get funds.

Findings

The reason for the high irregularity in the profits of Vikas Bhawan
is the seasonal and non-regular trend of booking. One of the
major reasons for this was that they do not do anything for
publicity. All the booking at Vikas Bhawan come through word of
mouth. They are well known in the area around for providing
bookings at decent prices and for their quality of service in terms
of cleanliness.
Service charge recovery has been declining over the years, despite
the fact that form fees and processing fees has been increasing,
which means that more number of loans have been disbursed.
Some reasons for the decline in the service charge recovery are
the number of MFIs that have come up, and the laid back attitude
of the clients due to the influence of politicians.
