Reasons For Humans To Be Religious
• Reasons for Humans Must Be Religious
Because religion is a human nature
and is closely attached to humans.
And it has become human nature
itself.
• Fitrah means sacred, both holy from
sin and genetically holy
• In Islamic theology all humans are
born in holiness, that is holy from sin
and have religion, namely Islam, the
duty of man is to try to keep the
sanctity maintained until it returns to
God. Consider the following verse:
ِ َ ۡ‫ت‬
ۡ‫ٱّلل‬ َ ‫ح ِن ٗيفاۡ ِفط َر‬ َۡ ‫ين‬ ِۡ ‫ك ِل ِلد‬ َۡ ‫فَأ َ ِقمۡ َوج َه‬
َۡ ‫ل تَب ِدي‬
‫ل‬ َۡ ۡ‫عۡلَي َها‬
َ ‫اس‬ َۡ َ‫ط َۡر ٱلن‬ َ َ‫ٱلَتِي ف‬
َۡ ‫ٱلدينۡ ٱلقَ ِيمۡ َوَٰۡلَ ِك‬
‫ن‬ ِۡ ‫ك‬ َۡ ‫ٱّلل َٰ َذ ِل‬ِۡ َ ‫ق‬ ِۡ ‫ِلخَل‬
٣٠ ‫ون‬ َۡ ‫ل يَعۡلَم‬
َۡ ۡ‫اس‬ ِ َ‫أَكث َ َۡر ٱلن‬
• Artinya :
“So set your face straight to the
religion of Allah; (fixed on) the nature
of Allah that has created man
according to that nature. There is no
change in the nature of Allah. That is
the Straight Religion; but most people
do not know” (QS. Al-Baqarah, ayat
30).
QS. Al-’Araf, ayat 172 and Hadits
ۡ‫ى أَنفۡ ِس ِهم‬ َ ۡ‫ور ِهمۡ ذ ِۡريَتَهمۡ َوأَش َه َدهم‬
َٰۡ َ‫عل‬ ِ ‫ُّك ِمنۡ بَنِيۡ َءا َد َۡم ِمن ظه‬ َۡ ‫َو ِإذۡ أ َ َخ َۡذ َرب‬
َ َٰ ‫عنۡ َٰ َه َذا‬
َۡ ‫غ ِف ِل‬
‫ين‬ َ ‫ش ِهدنَاۡ أَن ۡت َقولواۡ يَو َۡم ٱل ِق َٰيَ َم ِۡة ِإنَا كنَا‬
َ ۡ‫أَلَستۡ ِب َر ِبكمۡ قَالواۡ بَلَ َٰى‬
• Meaning:
• "And remember when thy Lord brought forth the offspring of the sons of Adam
from their loins, and Allah took witness to their souls:" Am I not your Lord? " They
said: "Yes, we are our witnesses." (That we do so) that on the Day of Resurrection
you will not say: "We are those who are unaware of this (oneness of God) “.”
(QS. Al-’Araf, ayat 172).

* “Every human being is born in a state of affairs, his parents are the ones who
make him a Jew, a Christian or a lawyer“.(HR. Abu Hurairah)
Reasons for Religion can Bless
Mankind

• Religious life is fitrah, and therefore

humans will feel good, comfortable,
safe and calm in the religion.
• And if humans are not religious then
the opposite will happen and even
cause unhappiness.
