SEPSIS?

sepsis is a life-threatening organ dysfunction due

to a dysregulated host response to infection;
'suspected sepsis' is used to indicate people who
might have sepsis and require face to face
assessment and consideration of urgent
intervention

SEPSIS?
Take into account that people with sepsis may

have a high temperature.

Initial assessment are crucial, the treatment

should begin from the first hour sepsis is
suspected. (Early Goal Directed Therapy, Sepsis
Bundle Campaign)
WHO CAN TREAT
SEPSIS?
The first doctor who made the clinical assessment of sepsis,
and all the doctors after it until the Intensivists when the
patient needed respiratory and circulatory support.

Why?

Because sepsis treatment begin at the first hour from the

clinical assessment of sepsis is given.
