The Vidyashilp Approach (text to be refined )

Education at Vidyashilp goes beyond the confines of a textbook. Our
focus lies in enabling students to learn from application and experience,
and inculcate critical thinking from the very start.

Our commitment towards imparting exceptional academic learning

thrives from a well-structured and well-rounded educational program.
By looking beyond textbooks and homework, we have formulated
modules that are designed to mentor students by challenging them to
execute and learn from their outcomes.

Vidyashilp Academy is affiliated to the CICSE and CIE Boards. The school
has its own in-house developed project based curriculum till Grade 5 in
Phase 1, after which the students are to choose between IGCSE or ICSE
curriculum for Secondary Schooling in Phase 2, from Grades 6 to 12.

We are committed towards facilitating academic excellence and

developing every student's social and cognitive skills in the process. Our
constantly evolving curriculum is designed to make learning as
interesting and interactive as possible from the day students start school
till the day they graduate.
STATIC

Curriculum - Phase I (text to be refined )

Every child is unique, not just in terms of their personalities, but also
in terms of how they react to different methods of teaching. At VSA,
we keep in mind the individuality of every student and the different
ways in which they apply themselves.

VSA's primary school system does not gauge a child's understanding

and ability solely on the basis of syllabus-based exams. We do not
send our students back home to finish piles of homework. Till grade
6, we monitor their progress through continuous evaluations where
the aim is to draw the focus away from and shift it towards learning
concepts and developing valuable skill sets.

Our educators pay close attention to the academic and non-academic

growth of every student. Students are given the opportunity to find
their own way around a problem. This turns learning into a
conducive, two-way process which ensures that students enjoy the
learning process and stay as inquisitive as ever. The school has its
own in-house developed, project based curriculum till grade 5 in
Phase 1.
STATIC

Curriculum - Phase II - (text to be refined )

Students can choose between IGCSE or ICSE

curriculum for secondary schooling in Phase
2, from grades 6 to 12.

The school places a strong emphasis on a

curriculum that is specifically designed to suit
the interests of students and create a solid
base for them to pursue a professional course
of their choice .

With years of experience behind them, our

teaching staff tap into the potential of every
student and work towards highlighting their
core strengths.
STATIC

Educators(text to be refined )

Our educators are not only exceptional teachers but are also compassionate mentors who look
beyond academic excellence. VSA faculty members have an impeccable understanding of their
subject and know exactly how to effectively impart this knowledge to their students.

The School is committed towards a growing curriculum and that extends to the growth of our
faculty awareness too. The school conducts regular workshops and seminars that help them revise
and improve their teaching techniques to best suit their students' needs.

stage & efforts are being made across globe to structure it within school curriculum, we intend to bridge this gap & would like to offer an
international level competition.
Mock Stock(Content to be refined)
As entrepreneurs in the making, the students stand to gain from the mock trading event. It is a prerequisite of entrepreneurship that they make
investments wisely and take responsibility for their actions. It is important for the entrepreneur to understand the dynamics of stock market as
he may have to float shares of his company in the stock exchange to raise funds for his business. An entrepreneur needs to also understand
how shareholders will be affected if he makes any wrong move. The event will definitely complement the Shilpreneurship initiative, as stock
trading and investments are an integral part of entrepreneurship.

Guest Talks
Guest Lectures from industry wizards are also conducted on an ongoing basis to keep the students abreast of the latest industry trends and
various managerial practices followed by the organisations. All this lends not only knowledge that is academically restricted but gives them a
practical exposure as well.
They expose students to real-world life experiences from the position of someone who has been there. Students get to see the insight and
perspective of the guest speaker’s particular field.
One important benefit that is derived from having a guest speaker is the enhancement of the students’ educational experience. They essentially
get a glimpse into the everyday life of the speaker, which they can’t get anywhere else. Another added benefit is the link that students get to
make between what they learn in their textbooks and what they learn from the guest speaker. Research indicates that it helps students build
important connections between what they are learning and the real world.
