TORQUE CONVERTER
THE HYDRODYNAMIC TORQUE CONVERTER IS
PROVIDED FOR STEPLESS SPEED/TORQUE
TRANSMISSION BETWEEN MOTOR AND DRIVEN
MACHINE. THE PUMP IMPELLER ABSORBS THE
MECHANICAL ENERGY OF MOTOR, CONVERT IT TO
KINETIC ENERGY BY ACCELERATING THE OIL. THE
TURBINE WHEEL CONVERT IT BACK TO
MECHANICAL ENERGY.
THE GUIDE VANES OF GUIDE WHEEL ARE
ADJUSTABLE AND EFFECT ACHANGE IN FLOW
DEPENDING ON THE GUIDE VANE POSITION A
CORRESPONDING TORQUE IS TRANSMITTED VIA
THE TUBINE WHEEL TO THE OUTPUT SHAFT
