Artistic appreciation

 Composition in the shape of a triangle, symmetrical and dynamic.

 Use light and soft colors.

 The light is representative, highlights the central area of the painting,

where Venus is located, and I can see that the right part of the scene is
darker and full of shadows.

 The painting does not have much perspective, but through the sea and
the vegetation it manages to give that feeling of depth within the
painting.
Quick description of the composition

 in the center of the composition on a gigantic shell on the waters.

 She appears with her long blond hair covering her private parts while
with her right arm she tries to cover her chest.
Concrete description

 A couple (Cephiro and Cloris, representing another myth) also appear on

their right, where Céfiro blows the shell in which Venus is; and on his left
the Spring Time, which will cover the Goddess with a red robe. We
observe how Venus disembarks on a beach (thanks to the breath of
Cephiro), where there is a tree, while a shower of roses falls.
Personal appreciation of the painting

 I interpret that Venus has just arrived in the world of mortals, that is why
it is called the "birth of Venus", the man who is blowing it made her "be
born" inside that shell and the woman who is on her right is trying to
dress her .
