COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your


lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called
coronavirus. This page lists some of the resources
you can access if you are concerned
We realize that these are disrupting, unprecedented and testing times
for everybody - not least those engaged with thinking about and
supporting kids in foster care. We are amazingly appreciative to each
one of those engaged with encouraging who offer help and security to
children and youngsters in foster care and we will do our most extreme
to have our impact right now.

During this season of vulnerability due to coronavirus, all our helplines


will stay open as normal for any fostering related questions, including
those which emerge because of coronavirus. In the event that you need
any help, guidance or a listening ear, it would be ideal if you connect

A new NHS 111 online service has been put in place to help
people get quick advice about coronavirus, as enquiries to
the health service about the outbreak have surged.
You will be asked a few questions and will be advised on
what you should do next.

DEPARTMENT FOR EDUCATION CORONAVIRUS HELPLINE

The Department of Education has set up a helpline


offering guidance for anyone with education related
questions – from early years up to universities. This
also includes parents, careers and guardians who
have concerns about their young person’s education.
