WHAT IS DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC
FEVER ?

DHF IS A disease caused by


dengue virus (arbovirus) that
enters the body through the
bite of aedes aedypti mosquito.
ETIOLOGY
Grade I
Fever is accompanied by non-
typical symptoms and the only
manifestation of bleeding is the
weir test.

DENGUE Grade II
Like degree I, accompanied by
VIRUS spontaneous bleeding in the skin
and or other bleeding

GRADE III
Obtained circulation failure, which is
fast and slow pulse, decreased pulse
AIDES AEGEPTY pressure (20 mmHg or less) or
hypotension, cyanosis around the
mouth, cold and damp skin and the
child looks nervous.

Grade IV
Severe shock (profound
shock), pulse cannot be
touched and blood
pressure is not measured.
DHF SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
High fever (40 ° C) 5-
7 days up and down

Swelling around the Thrombocytopenia

Muscle pain, joints,


Headache abdomen and solar
plexus

Epistaxis,
hematemesis,
melena, hematuria
Bleeding, Shock
Enlarged liver,
spleen, and lymph
nodes
