Critically choose and implement interventions to achieve practice


goals and enhance capacities of clients and constituencies.
Student will watch YouTube videos on intervention success and
outcomes.
• I watched Social work scrapbook on YouTube (Easy Go To
Interventions for Social Workers)
• I watched 4 TedTalks on success in social work
BEHAVIOR 8.2

Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social


environment, person-in-environment, and other multidisciplinary
theoretical frameworks in interventions with clients and
constituencies.
Student will research interventions to improve attendance.
• PBIS interventions
• 3 Tiers of intervention
• One on one contact with students to address low self esteem,
school anxiety and social skills
BEHAVIOR 8.3

Use inter-professional collaboration as appropriate to achieve


beneficial practice outcomes.
Student will review different case studies in relation to achieving
beneficial practice outcomes. (YouTube)
• On YouTube, I searched different case studies to watch videos
on. They were short clips but there were several different ones.
• I was able to watch social work students do mock interviews
with different case studies.
• I researched case studies from schools across North Carolina

Negotiate, mediate, and advocate with and on behalf of diverse


clients and constituencies.
Student will continue to work on new advocacy project
(Telework).
• I can still implement some of the old one
• New one with virtual database and incentives for parents
• Database with phone numbers

Facilitate effective transitions and endings that advance mutually


agreed-on goals.
Student will watch YouTube videos on motivational interviewing.
• I conducted research on motivational interviewing with
students
• Students can be difficult to work with, especially adolescents
