2
AIM

The objective of this project is to study and demonstrate traffic

engineering (TE) WITH Routing Protocols using a simulated
environment to show the underlying network representing the service.
Provides a communication provider for client networks represented by
the company and the necessary branches to connect as in the same
network through the implementation and analysis of connections using
traffic engineering (TE) WITH Routing protocols .

OBJECTIVES & AIM

Aim :
• The objective of this project is to study and demonstrate traffic
engineering (TE) WITH Routing Protocols .
Objectives :
• To Study traffic engineering .
• Study Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) .
• Study Quality Of Service .
• Study Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) .
• Implementing traffic engineering WITH BGP using GNS3.

4
MOTIVATION

• Through our study, we found that there were flaws in the

guidance protocols in terms of data routing methods, and we
found that the best solution was traffic engineering .

5
INTRODUCTION
• Because there are flaws in routing protocols in terms of finding the best data
path through the algorithms used to calculate the best route that is the shortest
way to determine the direction of the direction of the data without considering
other factors And this causes data outage and congestion in the network and
resources used to communicate, and this causes the loss of part of the data
leads to a decrease in the quality of the network, but traffic engineering using
MPLS generally become a mature technology that provides services designed to
increase the quality of the network .
• Using traditional routing techniques, the router determines the shortest route for
traffic without taking into account other factors such as bandwidth. Even when
congestion occurs, it does not divert traffic to any other available route. The
problem is highlighted when there are a large number of visits .

SUMMARY
traffic engineering in networking and it solved the problems of routing
protocols in terms of retention and congestion in the data transfer and
added a picture of the problem and how it was solved by traffic
engineering and we talked about a small part of the technology MPLS,
. and when you merge in traffic engineering
