Auto Filter Toggle Button in Parts Searching
• The Toggle check box feature on the search results pages can be
used to disable the Auto-filtering temporarily

• The Toggle check box feature will not be displayed when searching
for information using only a Serial Number Prefix or a single
Arrangement

Serial Number Specific Parts Identification
Example
1. Enter 5EK 2009 in the Serial Number or Prefix box

2. Select Documentation (Document Structure) as the Access Method

3. Select Parts Identification in the Information Types/Titles column

4. Select Engine Arrangement

5. Since the Results – Auto Filter box is checked, 2 options to view are
displayed

6. If the Results- Auto Filter box is un-checked, several more options to view
will be displayed

method will show filtered results. Users always have the ability to
temporarily uncheck the Results – Auto Filter check box

Choose INDEX [only available when using
Documentation (Document Structure)]
• Letters at top allow jumping to that letter’s category
• Scroll through by letter sections
• Use Control F [Windows shortcut on Edit menu] (after
clicking in Information column)
– Might be found in different-than-expected spot
– Long list of similar words (easy to miss one)
– Reading in all caps is sometimes difficult
