Relative clause is one type of Dependent Clause. That means, it cannot stand alone even though this clause has sentence elements in the form of subject and verb. So the meaning of Relative Clause is a dependent clause that functions as an adjective to explain a noun and gives an explanation of the noun in detail. Type of Relative Clause • Relative Pronoun : 1. Who : The Boy who is handsome in the class is Ucup. 2. Whose : There is a man whose car was stolen. 3. That : The box that I sent to my sister was heavy. 4. Whom : She whom I give bread thanks me. 5. Which : The book which I need to read was sold. • Relative Adverb : 1. Where : I never go to school where my mother was study. 2. When : I was so happy when I accepted in favorite school. 3. Why : I don’t know why she angry to me. Zero Conditional • Zero conditionals are used to make statements about the real world and often refer to general truths, for example scientific facts. In these sentences, the time is now or always and the situation is real and possible. • Example : • If you freeze water, it becomes a solid. Zero conditionals are also often used to give instructions, use imperatives or imperatives in the main clause. Example : • If Bill phones, tell him to meet me at the cinema. First Conditional • first conditional is used to discuss things that might happen in the future. Used to describe things that are easy to happen or manifest. Structure: "if + present tense" for conditional clauses, and future tense "will + infinitive" for main clause. Example : • If I have enough money, I will buy a new pair of rain boots.
