Definition of Terms

• Hysterectomy - a surgical operation to remove all or part of the uterus

• IUDS (intrauterine contraceptive device) - a contraceptive device fitted
inside the uterus and physically preventing the implantation of fertilized
ova.
• Surgical Sterilization Procedures - is a safe, convenient, highly effective,
and permanent form of contraception.
• Vasectomy -  a surgical procedure for male sterilization or permanent
contraception
• Euthanasia - practice of intentionally ending a life to relieve pain and
suffering.
