INTRODUCTION & HISTORY
Mc Donald’s is the largest and best known global food services
retailer with more than 30,000 restaurants in 121 countries. And best
known global food service.

Mc Donald’s serves less than one percent of the world’s population.

The first Mc Donald’s restaurant was opened in 1954.

It was operated by two brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald.


Mc Donald’s outstanding brand recognition, experienced management,
high quality food, advanced operational systems and unique global
infrastructed ensure a position that enables them to capitalize on global
opportunities.

In year 2004, Mc Donald’s was the largest marketer of fast food in the
world.

Incorporated in 1993, MIPL is Mc Donald’s India’s wholly owned


subsidiary.
In India, Mc Donald’s open its first restaurants in Vasant Vihar, South
Delhi.
