Copyright and Fair Use

What is copyright?
Copyright

It is the way an artist, singer, author, etc. protects his/her own work in regards
to others who may want to steal their ideas or work entirely.
Fair Use

Unlike copyright, fair use policies are the Rather than protecting one’s work, fair use
opposite of the definition of copyright. allows anyone to access certain creations, as
well as benefit from their ideas, methods,
creations, etc.
Is it better to In my own opinion, I would
protect your works rather have my own, original
or allow anyone to
creations under a copyright law,
access them?
so that others may not be
allowed to benefit from my hard
work.
