Brittany Anne Murphy

Murphy Brittany Anne was born in Atlanta,

Georgia, November 10, 1977. His parents, Sharon and
Angelo Bertolotti Kathleen Murphy divorced when she was
two years old, and Murphy was raised by her mother
 Edison, New Jersey, where he attended Edison school. The
amily then moved to Los Angeles and Murphy couldpursue
acting
 Brittany Murphy Aided school of Dance and
Theatre Verne Fowler in Colonia, NewJersey, in 1982. At 4
years old, continued to train singing, dancing, and
acting until she moved to California at 13 years old.
Murphy got his first job in Hollywood when he
was 13 years old, playing in the
seriesDrexell Brenda Drexell's Class. He was
in the works as The Torkelson Molly Morgan,
spin-off of Almost Home. Murphy was
also guest starred on numerous television
series, including Parker Lewis Can not Lose,
Blossom, seaQuest 2032, Murder One
and Frasier.
 Murphy starred in several films, including Clueless (1995), Girl,
Interrupted (1999),Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999), Do not Say a Word (2001),
adaptation to television in the novel The Devil's Arithmetic (2001) , 8 Mile (2002)
and Uptown Girls (2003) as well as lesser-known films as Spun (2002). In 2003,
she starred in the comedy movie JustMarried, and Little Black Book
(2004) and the critically acclaimed Sin City (2005).
 Murphy was also a voice actor. He was the voice of the character Luanne
Platter on theFOX animated series, King of the Hill throughout the
program from 1997 to 2009, andJoseph Gribble until season 5. He also did
the voice of Gloria in the 2006 film HappyFeet and Colline character in the
movie Futurama The Beast Million Arms 2008.
 In November 2009, Murphy left the production of The Caller,
which was being filmed inPuerto Rico, and was replaced
by Rachelle Lefevre. Murphy denied the reports of themedia
that the project had been dismissed after being difficult on set,
citing "creative differences
In late 2002, Murphy began dating Ashton Kutcher, her co-star
in Just Married.20 Oncecommitted
to talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz, Murphy became engaged
to JoeMacaluso in December 2005, a production assistant she
met while working in the filmLittle Black Book.
Over the past three and a half years of his life, Murphy, his
mother and Monjack lived together in the same house.
In the 2000s, Murphy lost a lot of weight, which gave rise
to rumors of addiction to cocaine
 At 08:00 on December 20, 2009, the Fire Department responded to
a Los Angeles"emergency call" home Murphy and Monjack shared in Los
Angeles. Brittany had apparently fallen into the toilet. Firefighters tried
to resuscitate Murphy in the scene.Was transported to Cedars-Sinai
Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival at 10:04 after
suffering cardiac arrest.
 On May 23, 2010, her
widower Simon Monjack was found dead
in the same residencein Hollywood Hills. In
July 2010, the Chief Coroner of
Los Angeles said the cause of death was acutep
neumonia and severe anemia. It was reported
in the press that theDepartment of Public
Health inspect the house in
which Murphy and Monjack had died
from possible toxic fungi.
