Creating a free website on webhost
 Go to www.000webhost.com

 After logging install WordPress

Adding Woocommerce
 On the left panel go to Settings ->Plugins->Add New

 Search for Woocommerce

 Install Woocommerce

 Woocommerce will convert the wordpress website into a E-

commerce with all features needed for a basic Ecommerce website
 On the left panel go to Woocommerce and click on Run the setup
wizard
 Fill country
 Fill Address

 Fill (INR)

 Fill type of product as Both physical & Digital products

 Unclick check box Help Woocommerce impress with usage tracking

 Click on Let’s Go

 Payment -> select Paypal (Select email) (Select all methods of

payment like cheque, cash)

 Shipping -> select Flat Rate (Enter amount). Do not opt for outside
India
 Recommended ->choose Woocommerce Admin, Mailchimp &
Facebook
 Click on Continue
Adding Jetpack
 Activate Jetpack

 Click on Continue with Jetpack

 Jetpack Account to be created to set up Jetpack

 Login with Google

Adding products
 Click on Products on the left panel and select Add New

 You are taken to Individual Product Control Page

 Enter Product Name -> Be as descriptive as possible

 Product Data

 Simple Product – Single product

 Grouped Product – Combo
 External Affiliate Product – Listed and shown on this website, but
product actually available on another website
  Variable Product – seasonal products or products with variable
attributes such as size, color, etc.
 Virtual – Intangible products that cannot be shipped

 Downloadable – Online products

 General – Enter price. Regular price is without discount . Sale price is

with discount
 Schedule – The start and end date of sale price can be entered

 Inventory

 SKU – It is the Stock Keeping Unit. It is the unique identifier for each
product that can be purchased
 Manage Stock – Manages the stock automatically at the product
level
 Stock Status – Mentions whether the stock is in stock or out of stock
 Sold Individually – Enables only one number of this product to be
ordered Helpful when there is high demand for a product.
 Shipping
 Weight – Enter quantity

 Dimension – Enter Length, Width and Height

 Shipping class – Used by certain shipping methods to group

similar products E.g. Same day shipping vs Norma shipping

 Linked Products
 Upsells – These products are recommended instead of the
currently viewed products E.g. Products that are more
profitable or better quality
 Cross-sells – Here the accessories related to the product can
be added.
 It should be noted that products which are already in the can
only be added to Upsells and Cross-sells
 Attributes – Here the relevant attributes for the product is
chosen. The master attributes are added through the
Attributes option in the Products on the left panel.


 Purchase Note – An optional note that can be sent to
customers on purchase of this product
 Menu Order – The priority (or the order) in which this product
is to be displayed from among the products of the same
category
